Hi, I'm Kat!

I'm the Founder of Alder & Spice Candle Company.

I discovered a love of candles early on; my Mom always seemed to have at least one candle burning in the house when I was growing up. She would buy all different types and scents, and each one had a different effect on the vibe. The last mother-daughter date we went on before she passed away was a workshop where we learned to make candles together.

Each Alder & Spice candle is specially crafted to curate an experience for the burner. By staying open-minded, our woman-owned small business will bring both familiar and experiemental scents to help elicit a mindful and positive atmosphere for our customers. Our premium candles are small batch, hand poured, and made with high-quality materials sourced as ethically and sustainably as possible.
